A Game Theory Based Automated SLA Negotiation Model for Confined Federated Clouds
نویسندگان
چکیده
Federation of Cloud services is notably landing interests from both Cloud providers and consumers. Cloud providers nowadays are required to form federations to remain competitive, and sustain their market share. Cloud consumers however seek optimized services from Clouds federation. They strive to maximize their satisfaction level, which is often measured by Quality of Service (QoS). Federations are governed by a mutual contract known as Service Level Agreement (SLA), which both consumers and providers must negotiate, so as to reach an agreement. The focus of this paper is to address issues related to SLA negotiation for the purpose of QoS assurance within federation of Clouds. We define, and specify an automated SLA negotiation model based on Fair Division Game. We evaluate our model using different use cases, and the obtained results proved fairness, and efficiency of the proposed SLA negotiation model in CloudLend.

Dynamic SLA Negotiation in Autonomic Federated Environments
Federated computing environments offer requestors the ability to dynamically invoke services offered by collaborating providers in the virtual service network. Without an efficient resource management that includes Dynamic SLA Negotiation, however, the assignment of providers to customer’s requests cannot be optimized and cannot offer high reliability without relevant SLA guarantees. We propose...
متن کاملWeb Service Negotiation Model Based on Cooperative Game Theory
In the service composition life cycle, the target between service requester and service provider is quite different, which will cause the Web service SLA negotiation problem. The implementation of Web service relies on the interaction between the service provider and the service requester. In this article, the game model of Web Service negotiation process is proposed and solutions of the multi-...
متن کاملA service decomposition and definition model in cloud manufacturing systems using game theory focusing on cost accounting perspectives
Cloud manufacturing is a new paradigm which has been under study since 2010 and a vast body of research has been conducted on this topic. Among them, service composition problems are of utmost importance. However, most studies only focused on private clouds meaning the objective function is defined for just one component of the supply chain. This paper attempts to consider service composition p...
متن کاملADSLANF: A negotiation framework for cloud management systems using a bulk negotiation behavioral learning approach
One of the major challenges in cloud computing is the development of a service-level agreement (SLA) negotiation framework using an intelligent third-party broker negotiation strategy. Current frameworks exploit various negotiation strategies using game theoretic, heuristic, and argumentation-based approaches for obtaining optimal negotiation with a better success rate (negotiation commitment)....
متن کاملAutomated Negotiation on Agent-Based e-Marketplaces: An Overview
This paper first describes a few existing models for product and merchant brokering and automated negotiation in the framework of agent-based emarketplaces. Our analysis shows that only simplest types of automated negotiation protocols are currently presented online, whereas some powerful systems have been already implemented in the product and merchant brokering field. Then we give an overview...
